Enjoy a night of Tropical music featuring Rootful on Saturday, October 24 at 5:00 PM. The Jewel City Concert Series presents eclectic live music outside on the Artsakh Paseo.

Join us for eclectic live music outside on the Artsakh Paseo! Enjoy a night of Tropical music featuring Rootful as a part of the Jewel City Concert Series. Visitors are welcome to bring a chair and enjoy the music on the paseo. Performances may be experienced by children and families. Admission is free.

This incredibly fun band is how it might sound if Stevie Wonder had spent a year living in Jamaica.

The “Rootful sound” blends lead singer Sydney Cruz's Soul-infused voice with Anika Erickson’s smooth Pop and R&B harmony vocals. The musical engine powering Rootful’s award-winning songs is anchored by masterful drummer Cristian Cornejo and resident Ska-expert bassist Howie Cruz (Rootful’s answer to Reggae rhythm innovators Sly and Robbie), and guitarist/visual artist Enoch Davis, who also designs and animates the band’s live visuals.

Rootful transforms each show they play into a joyful, uplifting experience that goes beyond a typical “gig” and becomes a celebration. With two soulful-voiced vocalists who sing directly from their hearts to yours, and award-winning, original Reggae, Latin, and Funk songs, there is always a lot of love in the room at a Rootful performance.
