This is a social writing group. Write, share, and review your writings! This event is only for Chevy Chase Choice Hours members.

Join us for a welcoming gathering of local writers at the library! Whether you’re working on a novel, poetry, memoir, short stories, or simply looking for a supportive space to write and connect with other writers, you’re invited.

Participants will have the opportunity to write, share their work, and receive positive feedback and constructive suggestions for revision in a supportive group setting. You’re also welcome to bring pieces you’ve already written to share with the group.

Bring your current project, your ideas, or just your enthusiasm for writing. We look forward to creating, sharing, and connecting together!

IMPORTANT LIBRARY ACCESS INFORMATION: This Chevy Chase Library is unstaffed on weekdays. All attendees must be active Chevy Chase Choice Hours members before arriving. Please complete the Choice Hours registration process in advance so so you can access the building for the event. Please do not wait until the day of the event to register for Choice Hours, there will not be staff available on-site to assist with access or registration issues.

Staff are available for Choice Hours sign up and orientation on Saturdays 12pm-5pm at the Chevy Chase Library. For additional Choice Hours registration information, please visit the Choice Hours website, email ChevyChaseLibrary@glendaleca.gov, or call 818-548-2046.

Important Event Information

This Writers Group will take place in an unstaffed library location. By registering for the event, attendees acknowledge that library staff will not be present during the gathering and that assistance may not be immediately available.

Visitors to Chevy Chase Library are welcomed to park onsite. Accessible parking and wheelchair access are available in front of the Library. Additional parking is available on East Chevy Chase Dr (10 additional parking spots).
