An All Ages Craft Workshop

Celebrate the versatile medium of paper! Create your own creatures inspired by papier-mâché alebrijes. All ages.

Join us on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 12:00 PM for Make It! This hands-on crafts series gives participants a chance to express themselves. In celebration of Brand 54: 54th Annual National Juried Exhibition of Works on Paper, our summer Make It! workshops are highlighting the versatile medium of paper.

This month's activity is Papier-mâché Creatures, inspired by the mystical alebrijes of Mexican artist, Pedro Linares López (1906–1992). 

All supplies will be provided. No registrations required. Please arrive promptly as space and materials are limited to 24 people. Program will be held outside in the Brand Library Courtyard. Please be prepared for partial sun and wear appropriate crafting attire - dress to make a mess! All ages.
