MORE INFORMATION:

👕Clothing Swap:

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Refresh your wardrobe sustainably! Bring up to 5 clean, gently used clothing items.

Items must be free of stains or tears. No jewelry, shoes, accessories, swimsuits, or underwear is accepted.

Items can be dropped off at Central Library on Friday, April 17 or during the swap until 11 AM.

🛠️Repair Cafe:

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Torn jeans? Broken toaster? Dull knife? Faulty lamp? We can help with that!

Give your broken items a second chance! Our skilled volunteers can help repair torn jeans, dull knives, broken clocks, and more.

Bring up to 2 items in clean condition with all necessary parts. Repairs are not guaranteed, and replacement parts are not provided. Items might not be accepted after 1 PM, pending capacity.

🌟Volunteer Opportunity:

Do you have a skill you can lend to the Repair Café and/or Clothing Swap? Whether it’s sewing, knife sharpening, computer help, gardening, bicycle repair, or event logistics, we would love to have you volunteer! If you’re great at greeting people, sorting clothing, or helping with setup and cleanup, your support will make a big difference. Volunteers can bring items to be fixed, assist others, and even swap during the event! We also offer volunteer hour credit.

You can sign up for both events or either of the events. Your help is greatly appreciated and is crucial to the success of these events.

📃 Repair Cafe Terms and Conditions

At Repair Cafe, we pride ourselves in fixing items and saving the environment by reducing the number of items that enter our landfills. Our services are provided free of charge to members in our community. However, please be aware that although we make every effort to attempt a repair, there are some items that we may not be able to repair. Because we are a free event, we are unable to provide any replacement parts. Thus, all repairs brought into our event must be accompanied with replacement parts already purchased and have items that would allow testing of the repair. Also, while at Repair Cafe, we will not accept the below items for repair. In addition, items must be in clean condition in order to receive a repair. We thank you for your cooperation and look forward to seeing you at one of our events!

Items not acceptable for repair:

  • Sewing Machines
  • Cathode Ray Tube Televisions
  • Cell Phone Screens
  • Internal Watch Components (wristband and battery ok)
  • Large clocks such as grandfather clocks

We reserve the right to refuse a repair at our own discretion. By bringing in your item, you agree that repairs are brought at your own risk and we will not be liable for any damages whatsoever.

🔋 Bring Your Small Batteries for Recycling! ♻️
If you have small batteries that you'd like to get rid of, we can recycle them for you! Just bring them along to the event.

The Library is only accepting drop-offs of:

  • 9 volt
  • AA
  • AAA
  • C Cell
  • D Cell
