Experience the fun side of STEM at this workshop taught by Pasadena area high school students. Learn cool science concepts and build a fun project. Registration required. For ages 6 - 11 years.
At this session, we'll be learning about force by creating pyramid catapults. After learning about the science concept, kids will then building a project to reinforce the concept, and test and play with their projects to come up with ideas for improving them.

Library parking is available onsite. Parking entrance is behind the Fire Station and Library buildings on Sunset Ave. Visitors receive 3-hour free parking and 15 minutes drop off parking is available in front of the Library. Accessible parking and wheelchair ramp is available in the parking lot.

The Montrose Library, located on the east end of the Montrose Shopping Park, is a classic neighborhood branch library with materials and activities for adults, teens and children. Programs include adult activity based social clubs, teen volunteer programs and children's storytimes. The 1961 building offers a lot of natural light and includes a quiet room in the adult fiction area.
