This hands-on crafts series gives participants a chance to express themselves! On February 7, create a cyanotype with exhibiting artist Felix Quintana
Meet Neighborhood Ecology artist Felix Quintana. See his work in the gallery and make your own cyanotype, an art technique using light sensitive paper to create blue-hued photographic images.
All supplies will be provided. No registrations required. Please arrive promptly as space and materials are limited to 24 people. Program will be held in the Brand Library Courtyard. Please wear appropriate crafting attire - dress to make a mess!

About the Artist:
Felix Quintana is a Salvadoran-American visual artist and educator based in Los Angeles. Quintana’s art practice spans photography, digital media, collage, and installation. He received his MFA in Photography from San Jose State University and BA from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt. Solo exhibitions include Donde Nace El Agua at Wende Museum, Fantasma Paraiso presented by Los Angeles Nomadic Division, and Cruising Below Sunset at Residency Art. His work is included in the public collections of Oakland Museum of California, Altamed Art Collection, and Los Angeles Civic Art Collection.
