Join the curators and artists of Opulent Mobility on Microsoft Teams on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 7:00 PM for a virtual discussion on the artwork and themes of Brand's current exhibition, Opulent Mobility: Re-Imagine Disability and Mobility.

In addition to curators A. Laura Brody and Anthony Tusler, exhibition artists Amabelle Aguiluz, Anahid Boghosian, Vanessa Hernández Cruz, Diana Elizabeth Jordan, Patricia Fortlage, Kellie Gillespie, Francesca Hummler, Aragna Ker, Monica Marks, Rebecca Niederlander, Tom and Linda Peters, Jaklin Romine, and Rachel Ungerer will be participating in the talk. ASL interpreters will also be present to offer support to those with hearing accessibility needs. The in-depth discussion will be followed by a Q&A.

Opulent Mobility, curated by founder A. Laura Brody and Anthony Tusler, tells stories that humanize, uplift, and celebrate disabled artists and disability art. This counters the far too common and dangerous perspective that dismisses the value of disabled lives. The exhibition is on view at Brand Library & Art Center through June 21, 2025.
