In collaboration with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, Avo Soltanian is presenting "Parenting from an Armenian Perspective," a series of seminars that will be presented in 2024 throughout LA County. Avo Soltanian is dedicated to assisting Armenian families to overcome today’s parenting challenges. He is a staunch believer that the cornerstone of any harmonious family is based on mental health and mindful parenting.
This seminar is designed to help Armenian parents grow closer with their children and create happier, healthier family dynamics. Some of the topics that will be discussed include effective parenting styles, family bonding, intergenerational and cultural gaps, and the various challenges modern parents face. The presentation allows for discussion between the presenter and the audience, and participation is highly encouraged. Parents will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A portion of the presentation. Parents of children of all ages can benefit from this engaging presentation and discussion.
Though some of the content in this seminar is related to the Armenian Culture, this seminar is open to parents from any cultural background. People from many cultures have benefitted from the important concepts discussed by Avo Soltanian.
Participants will also receive a free parenting book (The Whole-brain Child by Daniel J. Siegel)
