"Reflections" featuring Glendale Unified Student Artwork

Showcasing GUSD's Council PTA winning entries

30 original works of art in response to the student-selected theme "Show Your Voice", created for the National PTA competition.

Glendale Unified School District (GUSD) student artwork for Reflections, a National PTA sponsored art program, will be showcased at the Adams Square Mini Park Gas Station from April 3-11, 2023. 

National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts, boosting student confidence and success in the arts and life.  This year's theme is "Show Your Voice" where students were inspired and encouraged to create original works highlighting one of six areas: Musical Composition, Photography, Visual Arts, Film Production, Literature, and Dance Choreography. 

There were 537 art entries submitted at the school sites throughout Glendale Unified, and 123 were judged at the Council PTA level. Thirty outstanding interpretation winners were then judged at First District PTA. From these 30, 5 moved on to the State competition. Two from our Glendale District will be moving on to the National competition!
