Paint along with the master of the Joy of Painting from the 1970's.
Relax when painting along with a classic episode of the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. Even if you’ve never painted before, in this episode Bob Ross makes painting easy, fun and approachable for any beginner. All the supplies can be picked up at the library the week before, while supplies last. Pick up materials starting July 12-17, 2021.
Materials provided by the library the week before class: 1 81/2 x 11 black canvas board, 1 inch foam brush, 1 small detail point paint brush, 1 piece of paper towel, 1 waxy plate (or any plastic plate) 0.5 oz of white gesso, 0.5 oz of black gesso
You will need to provide your own: cup of warm water to rinse your brushes while you paint.
If you have registered for this program you need to pick up your kit in the Children's Room at the Glendale Central Library where it will be waiting for you. After registering, please wait for an email stating that your kit is ready for pickup. Once you have received the email you may come to the Central Library to pick up your kit in the Children's Room where it will be waiting for you behind the service desk. Let the Children's Room staff know that you are registered for this program and they will provide you with your kit.
