Maybe Someday We Will Return Home by Christine Alexanians follows a seven-year-old boy and a twelve-year-old girl forced to run from their homes, escaping an imminent massacre. Where they end up is no less dangerous. Based on true events, the story recounts the hardships they've endured escaping genocide and surviving the Bolshevik Revolution and the terror of the Soviet era.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A member of the Chevy Chase Book Club and Writers Group, Christine Alexanians is the author of the historical novels: War and Pierogi and Transplanted: A Journey of Enchantment and Disappointments. She lives in California with her husband, her two sons, and their families.
